73. wear yellow

So this is what it is to be self conscious . . .

Each time someone made eye contact with me today, each time I did something that might draw attention to myself, I became immediately and sharply aware of my apparel. Well, one item of it - the fuzzy, orange-yellow sweater. Accented with black. I comforted myself that if I fell into a snow bank, it wouldn't be hard for my rescuers to find me.

There may be a reason beyond aesthetics that my colour choices tend to range from dark to black. Huh. (Shhhh. I'm hiding.)

It was a cold day. The sweater kept me warm (and visible). Thanks to Ryan, who donated it to the cause.
